Meet Kate Newman

Kate Newman is a board certified nurse practitioner with extensive clinical experience in gastroenterology and preventive digestive health. She is dedicated to providing thorough, individualized care and is known for her warm communication style and commitment to patient education.

Kate completed both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2002) and Master of Science in Nursing (2008) at Ursuline College. Her strong academic foundation and years of hands-on experience allow her to effectively diagnose and manage a wide range of GI conditions, ensuring patients receive high-quality, evidence-based care.

As a member of the Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses, she continues to expand her knowledge and remain engaged with evolving clinical advancements within gastroenterology.

Her professional interests include colon cancer screening, hepatitis C management, and irritable bowel syndrome – areas where she demonstrates a high level of clinical skill and patient-centered attention.
