Meet Dr. Robert Straub
Board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Robert Straub has more than 30 years of experience providing his patients with high-quality, evidence-based care.
Dr. Straub earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo and completed his internship, residency, and fellowship training at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Following his fellowship, he returned to Ohio in 1993 and joined North Shore Gastroenterology.
Dr. Straub treats a wide range of conditions; however, his specific areas of expertise include colonoscopy, polyp removal, colorectal cancer screening and detection, upper endoscopy, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and Barrett’s esophagus.
A current Westlake, Ohio resident, Dr. Straub is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, American College of Gastroenterology, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases.
