Meet Dr. J. Owen Tully

Board certified in gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. J. Owen Tully has been serving patients at North Shore Gastroenterology since 2011. He takes pride in currently serving as the Medical Director of our Brooklyn location.

Dr. Tully earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine and his gastroenterology fellowship training at Lankenau Medical Center in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania. Shortly after his fellowship, Dr. Tully moved to Ohio and began his career at our practice.

Although he treats a wide range of GI and liver conditions, his areas of special interest include Barrett’s esophagus, celiac disease, colon cancer screening, GERD, hemorrhoid treatment, hepatitis C, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and polypectomy.

Committed to staying at the forefront of medical advancements, Dr. Tully is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
