Iryna Kalinina is a board certified nurse practitioner with advanced expertise in liver disease and complex gastrointestinal conditions. She is highly regarded for her thorough, compassionate approach and her ability to guide patients through diagnosis, treatment, and long-term disease management with clarity and reassurance.
Iryna received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2011 and completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Ursuline College in 2013. She also holds a specialized certificate in Transplant Immunology, awarded in 2020, which further strengthens her expertise in liver-related disorders.
She is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, remaining closely connected to evolving research and best practices in hepatology and GI care.
Her clinical interests include MASLD/MASH, autoimmune liver diseases, alcohol-associated liver disease, viral hepatitis, cirrhosis, and the long-term care of patients undergoing liver transplantation.
